The great Battle Of High Definition
Friends, Vimians, Countrymen. It has come to my attention that the Vimeo empire is being challenged by an internet giant. Unsatisfied Vimeo users are tempted to give in to the impressive new YoutubeHD. We must not be tempted by the release of the inevitable. YoutubeHD is merely a feeble attempt to keep up with the fast moving intellectual group currently occupying their space on the Vimeo servers. Although it is very tempting to convert to YoutubeHD, We must not forget our roots! We were the first and largest HD repository on the web. As seen in past battles between good versus evil, North versus South, Red Sox versus Yankees, USC versus UCLA, and Jedi versus Sith. Even if the evil comes out on top, We will still have our pride, and it usually means there’s going to be a sequel. I leave you with the great words of Martin Luther King Jr. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.”
